Preventive and Diagnostic Dentistry
Preventive Dentistry is our goal for every patient. It involves continuous patient participation in the form of daily care, good nutrition, periodic examinations, and cleanings to maintain dental health. Specific services provided in our office include dental cleanings, periodintal therapy, fluoride treatments, pit and fissure sealants, and oral hygiene instruction. In the long run, preventive dentistry will save you money and optimize your overall health.
Diagnostic Dentistry involves a comprehensive evaluation of the patient’s oral health through the use of state-of-the art technology to collect pertinent data. It includes cavity detection through the use of digital x-rays and intraoral cameras, periodontal evaluation, oral cancer screening, and tempromandibular joint (TMJ) examination. At AvantGarde Dental, diagnostic dentistry also includes aesthetic smile consultation.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Cosmetic Dentistry is the process by which we restore unsightly, stained, decayed, defective, or broken teeth to improve the appearance of your teeth, mouth, and smile. The way you see yourself, and think others see you, affects the way you feel about yourself. A smile is a precious component of your personality. At times, what appears to be a complicated situation can be corrected with relatively minor treatment. The appropriateness of each treatment option (for example, resin restorations, porcelain veneers, bleaching, Invisalign (clear braces), or aesthetic bonding) is based upon the conditions present in your mouth. Restorative Dentistry
Restorative Dentistry entails any dental treatment ranging from simple restorative procedures (tooth-colored fillings) through the more complex prosthodontic treatments (inlays and onlays, crowns and bridges, partial and complete dentures and, in more complex cases, dental implants).
Endodontics and Oral Surgery
We are providing our patients with state-of-the art root canal technology as well as an option of oral surgery to include wisdom teeth extractions, bone grafts, and soft tissue augmentation right on our premises.
Dental Implants
We both place and restore dental implants here in our office!
Dental implants are a great way to replace missing teeth and also provide a fixed solution to having removable partial or complete dentures. Implants provide excellent support and stability for these dental appliances.
Dental implants are artificial roots and teeth (usually titanium) that are surgically placed into the upper or lower jaw bone by a dentist or Periodontist - a specialist of the gums and supporting bone. The teeth attached to implants are very natural looking and often enhance or restore a patient’s smile!
